Aussie Campervan Rental Tips

Aussie Campervan RentalCampervan rental offers you a fun and affordable way to experience Australia. Many of our customers find the experience addictive… and often come back for more! Although we won’t say renting a campervan is a ‘cheap’ holiday, it is certainly more affordable than staying hotels/motels for the duration of your trip. Here are a couple tips we’ve put together to help you get more value out of your campervan rental:

  • Dining – mix it up. We recommend mixing up your dining choices. Don’t eat out all the time; likewise, don’t cook everything yourself. Instead aim to cook most meals yourself using the facilities in your campervan, but do budget for 2-3 take away or dine-out meals each week of your trip. This gives you a chance to relax and not worry about visiting the grocery store.
  • Take advantage of camp ground activities. During your trip you will probably spend a few nights in a paid camping ground. Depending on where you’re staying, you will have a variety of activities available to you. If you stay in a modern holiday village, you may have access to a swimming pool, tennis court or games room. If you stay in a government-owned bush camp, you will probably find dedicated walking trails nearby and areas where you can light your own campfire. Rather than rushing around in an attempt to visit every local tourist attraction, we recommend scheduling some ‘down time’. Enjoy the facilities already at your fingertips. You’ll save money and you’ll enjoy the experience.

The best thing about a driving holiday is it is fantastically flexible. Our customers often find a place they adore and stay a little longer – just because they can. The longer you spend on holiday, the more accustomed you’ll become to the relaxed, carefree life that Aussie camper rental offers you.
